I help people hear themselves think.

When did someone last truly listen to you?

Take a moment before answering.

What would it actually mean to you — to feel heard?

Question 5 of 5

What feels most true about where you are right now?

One answer. The honest one.

Listening to what you wrote…

You might recognise this.

These are real things people have said to me — and one of them probably sounds like you.

"I've read the books. Done the therapy. I understand my patterns precisely. And something still hasn't moved."

Self-aware. Circling.

"I show up for everyone around me. I'm not sure the last time someone showed up for me."

Connected. Carrying it alone.

"Everything looks right from the outside. Something underneath doesn't match."

Successful. Something missing.

You don't need more advice.
You need space to hear yourself.

Most conversations — even with people who care about you — involve a quiet transaction. You speak, they prepare their response. You filter what you say based on what they can handle. You take care of their reaction before you've finished your own thought.

I offer something different. A space where none of that filtering is required. You speak. I listen — completely, without agenda, without a clock cutting you off before you've landed.

This isn't therapy. It's not coaching with a framework. It's the experience of being genuinely heard — which, for most people, is rarer than they realise. And when you're truly heard, something becomes clear that wasn't before.

This is not

  • Therapy or psychological treatment
  • Coaching with frameworks or action plans
  • Advice or being told what to do
  • A crisis or mental health service
  • Mentoring or business consulting

This is

  • Unhurried presence — I don't set an alarm
  • Space to speak without managing my reaction
  • Someone who holds the thread between sessions
  • Clarity that emerges from being genuinely heard
  • No agenda except your own

How it works
in practice

01

We speak first

A free 20-minute conversation. No agenda, no form to fill in. We find out together whether this is the right fit at the right time.

02

A season together

Weekly or fortnightly sessions, online or in person. I hold the thread — what came up, what shifted, what keeps returning.

03

Something moves

Not because I fixed anything. But because you finally heard yourself say it out loud — and that changes what becomes possible.

Clarity Companion

I didn't come to this through a coaching course. I came to it through my own life.

For nearly twenty years I worked in film and television, and later in teaching and mentoring — students and young creatives in Norway and East Africa. The part that mattered most, I found, was never the work itself. It was the person in front of me.

I know the other side of it too: years of running on empty, an identity built around being useful, until I burned out and had to find my way back. That's much of why I do this — and why I believe clarity isn't something you add, but what's left when nothing is in the way of your thinking.

I work with a small number of people at a time, and the first conversation is no charge and no pressure — just a chance to find out if this is right. Read my story →
